1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Swoony handles information when you use the Swoony iOS application and the related pages that link to this policy. Swoony is a home fitness and workout-content app with privacy-focused Quick Login, guided bodyweight tutorials, video posts, likes, comments, follows, reports, blocks, appearance preferences, and optional in-app purchases.
Quick Login is designed to let you begin without submitting an email address, phone number, password, real name, or third-party social account. By avoiding unnecessary registration details, Swoony reduces its dependence on personal information and helps protect your privacy.
2. Information Swoony handles
Profile information
When you use Quick Login, Swoony creates an app profile with a randomly generated identifier and username. You may choose to add a profile image reference or biography. Quick Login does not ask for your email address, phone number, password, real name, or social sign-in credentials.
Workout content
If you create a workout post, Swoony handles the video you select or record, its app file reference, your description, tags, post identifier, and creation time. Videos selected for a post may be copied into Swoony's app storage.
Interactions and preferences
Swoony stores in-app activity needed to provide features you use, including liked posts and comments, comments you add, followed profiles, blocked profiles, reported content, appearance mode, app usage days, virtual coin balance, boosted post status, and related settings.
Camera and photo library access
Swoony requests camera or photo library access only when you choose to add or record a workout video. The app does not access your media library in the background. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.
Purchase information
Optional coin purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Swoony receives the product identifier and transaction status needed to deliver purchased coins. Apple, not Swoony, handles your payment method and billing details.
Network and web information
When the app checks internet availability or loads a legal page or remote media, the contacted service or hosting provider may receive standard network information such as your IP address, request time, and device or browser headers. Swoony does not use this activity to build an advertising profile.
Information Swoony does not request
The current version does not request HealthKit data, precise or approximate location, contacts, calendars, motion and fitness sensor data, or microphone access outside a user-initiated video recording flow. It does not provide medical diagnosis or collect medical records.
3. How information is used
Swoony uses the information described above only as needed to:
- Create and display your Quick Login profile.
- Save and display workout posts and media within Swoony.
- Provide likes, comments, follows, reports, blocks, and liked-post collections.
- Remember appearance, account, moderation, and app-use preferences.
- Process optional Apple in-app purchases and maintain a local coin balance.
- Check network availability and load content or legal pages you request.
- Respond to support, privacy, or account questions you send by email.
- Protect the app, enforce the Terms of Service, and comply with applicable law.
Swoony does not sell personal information and does not use health or fitness information for advertising, marketing profiles, or unrelated data mining.
4. Data retention and deletion
Profile details, posts, video files, likes, comments, follows, blocks, reports, preferences, coin balances, and related records are retained within Swoony for as long as needed to provide the features you use, or until the applicable data is removed, the app's storage is cleared, or Swoony is uninstalled.
The in-app Delete Account control removes the Quick Login profile and associated account, like, relationship, and usage records managed by the account system. Workout posts and media files may remain in app storage after account deletion. Clearing Swoony's app storage or uninstalling the app removes the app's data container.
Emails you voluntarily send to Swoony.app@gmail.com may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer your request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.
6. Your choices and controls
- Edit your username, biography, avatar, and other available profile details in the app.
- Delete your own comments using available controls.
- Unlike posts or comments, unfollow profiles, and unblock users.
- Manage camera and photo library permissions in iOS Settings.
- Initiate Quick Login profile deletion from the Account section in Swoony settings.
- Uninstall Swoony to remove the app and its associated app data.
For questions about a privacy request or data you sent directly to support, email Swoony.app@gmail.com.
7. Children's privacy
Swoony is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support address, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
8. Security
Swoony uses iOS application sandboxing and system security protections for app data. No storage method or electronic system is completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode, keep iOS updated, and avoid including sensitive personal or medical information in workout posts, profile text, comments, or support emails.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Swoony's functionality, data practices, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate in-app or website notice when required.
